Loadasmoon is a solo project orchestrated by kevin Stanbury, a guitarist from Northumberland in England who settled in The Republic of Ireland, where he met two very significant people whom without he would not have pursued his goal to write a heavy rock album. These two people are Mike O'Dowd and Shawn Allen who live in the heart of Ireland.
Kevin recorded all the guitar arrangements and ghost vocals, for which he wrote the lyrics, on his digital studio in the comfort of his own home. The completed recordings were taken to Mike's Lakeland studio in Athlone where Mike would transfer the data to his computer where he added the bass and drums. Shawn then added the vocals and Mike mixed the album ready for mastering. The album was mastered by Richad Dowling at Wav Mastering in Limerick.
Meanwhile Paul J Roxby, also from the north of England was filming and producing a video for the fourth track on the album “Don’t Look At Yourself” He is also responsible for producing the art work for the album.
The future looks bright with four songs already written for an EP due out later this year if all goes well rehearsals for live work are also on the horizon. For any further info you can reach kevin via the Loadasmoon band facebook page.
